The Mist AI app is intended to assist in the setup of Juniper Switches, WAN edge routers, Mist edge devices, and Mist Access Points for seamless onboarding.

Mist AI offers support for the following user roles:

• Admin role: Grants access to all application features.
• Installer role: Provides limited access, allowing for the initial configuration of devices within the organization.

The key features of Mist AI include:

• LOGIN:
  • Securely enables users with admin/installer roles to log in using their existing Mist account.
  • Supports login via SSO (Single Sign-On) and biometric authentication.
• CLAIM DEVICE:
  • Easily associate Juniper Switches, WAN edge routers, Mist edge devices, and Mist Access Points with an organization or site using a claim method or QR code (if not previously claimed via activation code).
• DEVICE INVENTORY:
  • Efficiently search for devices by name, MAC address, or by scanning a QR code at the organization level.
  • List and count all devices within the organization.
  • Assign multiple devices to a site conveniently.
  • View device models and associate them with site names.
• SITE INFORMATION:
  • Browse Juniper Switches, WAN edge routers, Mist edge devices, and Mist Access Points in list view.
  • Show Access Points in map view.
  • Search for devices easily at the site level by name, MAC address, or via QR code scanning.
  • Display the total number of devices at the site along with their connection status (connected or disconnected).
  • Navigate to detailed pages for each device.
• DEVICE DETAILS:
  • Access device specifics like name, MAC address, connection status, firmware version, and uptime.
  • Perform actions such as unassigning, unclaiming, or replacing devices within the app.
  • Remove Access Points from maps (AP only).
  • Allow placement of Access Points on floor plans including setting height and LED orientation (AP only).
